Project 1:
Jelly eyeshadow for Anastasia beverly hills

Product Reveal Video

Consumer Positioning Video

Slide deck presentation

This was a group project for my product development class that was the result of an extensive 70+ page trend analysis. Our goal was to discover a white space opportunity in the market as well as something that would appeal to consumers during the time of quarantine. We found DIY and customization trends to be huge, as well as the eye makeup category in general due to wearing masks that cover the lower half of our faces. Additionally, skincare and self-care trends in general were very relevant. To combine these elements, we decided to develop a customizable, skincare-like eyeshadow formula that would also allow for customization and appeal to the DIY trend. The result was a new type of eyeshadow palette consisting of loose pigments and a moisturizing, long-weary jelly base that combined would allow for endless possibilities for color creation.

My work on this project consisted of editing and creating the video media as well as working on the presentation and overall concept in collaboration with my group. We all conducted research and came to a universal conclusion that a product like this would be a great fit for the brand Anastasia Beverly Hills. As a brand that caters to makeup artists, influencers, and beauty enthusiasts alike, this type of eyeshadow palette would renew the hype for ABH palettes. I greatly enjoyed the creative collaboration aspect of this project, and I loved getting to use my video editing skills in a new and exciting way.

Project 2:

Kith multiform collection

The brief for this project was to research and design a clothing line for an existing brand of our choice. This assignment was for our Product Development class, and required design work including making tech packs and cost sheets (below). My partner, Erin, and I wanted to challenge ourselves to create a streetwear style gender neutral line. I am incredibly proud of how versatile our designs turned out, and I believe we fit the Kith aesthetic perfectly with this collection.

I assisted with designing the line, selecting products, and choosing fabrics. I personally created the advertisements and mockups, planned the pricing and profit margins, and created half of the cost sheets and tech packs for our designs.

This was an incredibly extensive and educational assignment that required a lot of research and planning. In addition to our digital presentation, we did have to create an initial physical model for

one of our product designs. Digital presentation techniques were as much a part of this project as line calculations and garment construction. I believe this is one of my strongest works both technically

and aesthetically.
